YouTube has surpassed Netflix in average daily viewing globally, with users spending 99.1 minutes per day on the platform in 2025, up from 87.2 minutes in 2024. Netflix's average daily viewing fell to 93.4 minutes in 2025, down from 100.5 minutes in 2024.
